PARADIGM
Filarete has been selected as a partner of a new FP7 EU project called PARADIGM (Photonic Advanced Research And Development for Integrated Generic Manufacturing). PARADIGM aims to develop a generic platform technology for application-specific PICs in InP. Aspic is the circuit simulator that will provide the generic design capabilities to boost the generic foundry model.

EuroPIC Kick-Off
Kick-off meeting of the FP7 EU Project EuroPIC (European manufacturing platform for Photonic Integrated Circuits) www.europic.org. ASPIC will provide the InP foundries of the project with the design kits of their building blocks to realize complex integrated optical circuits. The aim is to demonstrate and develop the potential of the generic approach in InP foundries and will lead to an open access industrial generic foundry production capability.
