The new Aspic Version 2.8 collects major advances archieved in the last period of research and development on both user interface and numerical methods implemented in the software.

Aspic 2.8 is orders of magnitude faster, has been enriched with functions for the management of the circuit and Building Blocks parameters via data file, save and load variables, define vector variables, export all the results in a single text file and more. Aspic is now faster and very stable.

ASPIC is available in three versions:

• Demo: an unprotected trial version, fully functional but with severe limitations: save, print and import/export functions disabled, limited number of components and usable variables, slow solver. Documentation, manuals and examples are completely accessible.
• Educational: a simplified and low cost, although powerful, version that matches perfectly the need of modern educational and training interactive courses. The EDU version can be purchased and also rented for a limited time period.
• Research & Development: the full, fast and complete version. The R&D version has more advanced functionalities such as circuit exchange with Mask Engineer (by Phoenix) for GDSII preparation, the BB compiler tool and much more.

Both versions are dongle protected and upgraded on a regular basis. The actual version is 2.8. Upgrade from EDU to R&D version is available.
